French Roulette commonly features special betting combinations that are referred to as announced bets or French bets. The player calls out a bet and immediately places money on the table to cover the amount of the bet. The Voisins du Zéro bet, or the Neighbors of Zero, covers zero and all the numbers on both its sides of the wheel, from 22 to 25. The series consists of 22-18-29-7-28-12-35-3-26-0-32-15-19-4-21-2-25. 15-number bets can be made or in some, 17 to include 22 and 25.

Le Tiers Du Cylindre
Le Tiers Du Cylindre, also known as Third of the Wheel, refers to the series of 12 numbers on the opposite side of the wheel, encompassing numbers between, and including, 27 and 33. The series includes: 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23,10, 5, 24, 16 and 33, and 6-piece bets can be made.

Orphelins
Orphelins, another popular announced bet, includes numbers that lie outside the tiers and voisins. These “orphans” consist of eight digits, consisting 1, 6, 9, 14, 17, 20, 31 and 34. This is a 4-piece bet, made up by one straight on one and one chip on each split: 6-9,14-17,17-20 and 31-34.

The Jeu Zéro or otherwise known as the zero game covers numbers closest to zero. The series of numbers in the zero game are also found in the voisins, however their locations are placed variously.

Neighbor Bets
The neighbor bets are oftentimes made in combinations. This particular bet is a 5-digit wager includes a number along with two numbers from each side of the wheel. As an example, “5 and the neighbors” consist of the series 5, 24,16, 10 and 23.

Final bets or Finales and the Red/Black splits
Other exclusive roulette tables feature the Final bets or Finales and the Red/Black splits. This type of announced bet allows the player to place his/her bet on the last figure of the winning number. If one bets on Finale 4 for example, the combination 4, 14, 24 and 34 is chosen. These are exactly series of all the splits of red or black numbers on the layout.
